Located in the Sproul State Forest, the Chuck Keiper Trail (CKT) is a very rugged and remote 47.25-mile loop that lies on The Allegheny Plateau in Central PA. The trail encircles route 144 between the small towns of Snowshoe and Renovo. There are several shorter loops in this trail system as well as a cross connector trail, East Branch Trail. East Branch Trail essentially creates a 30.5-mile west loop and a 22.5-mile east loop. Along with a description for hiking the entire Chuck Keiper Loop, this guidebook also provides you with details on hiking the Eddy Lick, Yost Run, Little Beaver, and Cranberry Swamp Loops.
